| HULL & DECK The hull is a “semi-planing” hard chine design with keel skeg constructed of solid, hand laminated FRP incorporating a bonded internal hull grid. The one -piece deck & house unit uses plastic honeycomb and plywood structural coring as required. PROPULSION, ENGINE ROOM & BILGE A single Cummins QSB5.9-230 hp electronic diesel engine with 12 volt, ZF Mathers 80A Electric shift with 2.50:1 ratio; 160 amp, 12 V. alternator; Racor 900 FG-2 separator/ filter; 6”Vernatone FRP silencer; raw water strainer; USCG & EU approved, flexible, & fuel lines covered w/ braided st/st are provided. The engine is installed on galvanized steel, saddles mounted on molded engine beds. A clamp – type coupling connects the 2” Aquatech 17 st/st prop shaft that exits the keel through a PYI dripless shaft seal to a 4 blade, bronze prop; a 12 V blower expels hot air. Other equipment includes: an engine drip pan; st/st ladder into E/R. 120 V duplex receptacle; 2 1700 GPH 12V bilge pumps w/ auto & manual switches; a manual bilge pump; & fluorescent overhead lights. The stainless steel rudder is fitted so it is possible to pull the prop shaft without removing the rudder. Twin engines & larger single engines up to 350 hp are available as options. A high-density foam layered with lead sheet, covered w/ reinforced aluminum foil, insulates against sound& heat & is enclosed w/ sheets of rigid, perforated, aluminum. Hydraulic steering line fittings for auto pilot connections are provided. TANKAG 2 x 220 U.S gal. FRP Fuel Tanks installed port & starboard, outboard of the engine under the pilothouse. 1 x 220 U.S. gal. FRP Water Tank installed center line, at the aft end of the saloon under the sole. Tanks are molded FRP with gel- coated inner surfaces and are baffled. Inspection/clean out plates are on top of each tank. |
HELM STATIONS Pilothouse & Flybridge stations have full engine instruments & ZF Mathers electronic engine controls. Steering is powered by a Hynautic hydraulic system using a hydraulic ram & pressured reservoir & copper hydraulic lines. FRESH WATER SYSTEM The pressurized fresh water system utilizes a 12 volt automatic pump, a 8 U.S. gal, water heater, fitted with both a heating element and engine heat exchanger, & Qest polybutyl, heat resistant piping. WASTE WATER SYSTEM An automatic electric bilge pump and a manually switched shower sump pump discharge shower & sink waste/bilge water directly overboard.The galley sink drains directly overboard. A 25 U.S. gallons toilet holding tank with both deck pump-out fitting and gravity, waterline drain are standard items. ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS A 12 V. D.C. battery system and a 120 V.A.C. system and 30 amp shore power are installed. A gen set is optional. A Sea main circuit breaker panel with amp and volt meters for both A.C. and D.C. systems and a master battery switch are installed in the pilothouse. Two 200 AH heavy duty, 12 volt lead-acid batteries are provided in covered plastic boxes. Zinc anodes installed on the transom are connected to the grounding system. Wiring & a 75 amp breaker for an optional windlass are installed. Cabin lighting is 12 V.D.C. with bulkhead and dome lights fitted throughout the interior. International navigation lights, electric, trumpet type horn & windshield wiper are standard items. VENTILATION & ACCESS There are 9 fixed, & 2 sliding, aluminum framed windows in the pilothouse. 6 opening, Lewmar screened ports are in the forward cabin, trunk sides providing light and air to the forward living quarters. Saloon lighting & ventilation is provided by 5 sliding, aluminum windows. Tempered Safety glass is used in all windows. The forward cabin trunk is fitted with one 20” x 20” and 2 each 16” x 16”Lewmar deck hatchesgiving this area a generous amount of light and air. A teak and acrylic deck hatch is also fitted over the saloon/cockpit doorway. Sliding teak doors with glass windows are fitted on both sides of the pilothouse. A hinged teak door is on the saloon aft bulkhead for accessbetween saloon and cockpit. |
| STANDARD ONE STATEROOM PLAN The Master S/R is located forward of the pilothouse. Double doors forward of the berth headboard locker, open to the chain locker. A queen size, 5” thick, vinyl covered, island berth provides an easily accessed berth with drawers & locker underneath. Under-deck lockers, a hanging locker and a tall dresser provide good storage inside the s/r. Long, port & starboard bookshelves are installed above the berth on the teak, hull liner. Across from the lavatory, next to the stairs is a hanging locker. Two opening ports and 3 deck hatches provide light and air. ONE STATEROOM PLAN WASHROOM The washroom is starboard of the forward passageway. There are 2 access doors, one from the Master S/R & 1 from the passageway. A full stall shower; washbasin; double, mirrored door medicine cabinet; electric, marine toilet & holding tank are provided. The bulkheads, ceiling liners and overheads are off-white FRP for ease in cleaning. A port ventilates the shower/washroom. OPTIONAL TWO STATEROOM PLAN HAS A MASTER FORWARD STATEROOM The forward Master S/R has a portside, 5” thick, double, vinyl - covered berth. A hanging locker and dresser are to starboard. Doors through the forward bulkhead provide access to the chain locker. An opening port & a deck hatch provide light & air. AND A GUEST STATEROOM The Guest S/R is located aft of the Master S/R and to port of the forward passageway. A convertible settee of 5”thick, vinyl covered cushions, provides upper & lower single berths. A hanging locker and a dresser are provided. Opening ports & a deck hatch provide light and ventilation. TWO STATEROOMS PLAN WASHROOM The washroom is located to starboard off the forward passageway. A stall shower, washbasin, mirrored door medicine cabinet, electric marine toilet & holding tank are included. The bulkheads, ceiling liners and overheads are off-white FRP for ease in cleaning. Ventilation is provided by an opening port in the shower. PILOTHOUSE Full instrumentation, engine controls, a large chart table, overhead console for electronics and a teak rimmed stainless wheel give a ship-like feeling. A pilot's seat with vinyl cushions and footrest are included. |
PILOTHOUSE The engine room is entered by lifting the stairs between the galley& the pilothouse; the engine is under the pilothouse sole. All of the sole is insulated and is removable. P&S, teak, sliding doors allow easy access to walk around decks. Counter tops are black Formica, Cabinets, lockers & bulkheads, are finished in teak. The sole has a "teak and holly" planked finish. The settee forward section pulls out to make into an off-watch berth, when the table is lowered. It can be enclosed with an optional, full curtain to provide greater privacy. GALLEY A “cook-friendly,” U shaped” galley with double st/st sinks, centered in a white Formica counter provides ample space for preparing meals or snacks. A large enclosed space under the outboard end of the counter holds several days of accumulated trash. The optional galley range fits into a st/st - lined compartment below a sliding window. An exhaust fan can be installed just forward of the window. Fitted dinnerware compartments, drawers, wine glasses rack, & overhead and under counter lockers provide enough space to store a lot of supplies & cooking equipment. An optional under -counter refrigerator fits under the starboard counter fwd of the entertainment cabinet. Or this space can be built for an optional 2 door, tall refrigerator / freezer. The vented microwave compartment has AC power. Doors to cover the microwave may be ordered. SALOON 7 – 8 people can sit on the vinyl covered, 5”thick settees on both sides of the teak dinning table. An optional drop leaf on the adjustable height table makes it possible to stand at the aft side of the sink counter. Under deck lockers are accessed by hinged doors outboard of the settee backrest cushions. Cabin soles are teak & holly with some removable sections. MATERIALS & FINISHING Throughout the yacht, excepting the washroom, the soles are veneered with teak and holly; bulkheads, cabinets, doors, interior window frames and drawer fronts are finished in both solid and veneered teak. Overhead and ceiling liners are covered with removable, padded, sound dampening, panels of off-white vinyl or FRP. All sliding and fixed windows are made of tempered safety glass. |
| MATERIALS & FINISHING White Formica is installed on galley counters. The washroom counter is molded FRP and holds a st/st sink, but optional granite or marble counters are available. The interior teak is finished with satin finish varnish. The bilge is painted with 2 coats of white epoxy paint. Vinyl upholstery is used throughout the yacht; optional cloth upholstery & curtains are available. MAIN DECK The main deck surface, is molded, FRP, non-skid texture. Inner bulwarks are molded in off-white FRP. COCKPIT Most 5 KW generators w/ a sound shield fit under the cockpit. Gas struts support the large cockpit hatch over the optional gen set in an open position. A separate deck hatch is located to starboard for battery access. LAZARETTE Steering system components GFCI 120 V.A.C. duplex outlet St/st ladder into lazarette Optional generator and accessories FRP silencer 2 x 200 amp batteries in covered battery boxes BOAT DECK/UPPER HELM The upper helm is the vessel's secondary control station with full instrumentation & engine controls. A vinyl upholstered, bench seat for 2 is provided at the upper helm. The gas cylinder for the galley stove will fit inside this vented seat base. A molded FRP weather coaming & tinted acrylic & st/st frame wind screen increase the comfort at the helm, The upper deck is reached by a st/st & teak ladder from the aft cockpit. A double 1-1/4” st/st railing surrounds the upper deck. |
